Coe Juracek embarked on a career in real estate after graduating from Duke University in 1995, with a bachelor’s degree in history in his back pocket. He began his journey with the Trammell Crow Company, an investment and development leader in commercial real estate. At Trammell Crow, Coe was a member of the corporate services team before transitioning to real estate investment and development. In 1996, he joined Wellsford Residential Property Trust, a company that owned and operated multifamily communities in the Southwest and Pacific Northwest regions of the US, as an analyst.

 

The following year, after Wellsford was acquired by Equity Residential, Juracek started working as an associate with HomeGate Hospitality, a pioneer in the extended-stay hotel industry. He was promoted to director of development for Prime Hospitality Group following its acquisition of HomeGate, and then moved on the Benton Properties, where he concentrated on multifamily development opportunities in North Texas.

 

 

Since joining Crow Holdings Company in 1999, Coe Juracek has played a variety of critical roles in the company's growth. CHC is a major player in the real estate investment management business and in the industrial and multifamily real estate markets particularly, with $16 billion in assets under management. Their investment management business focuses on the main investment products like multifamily and industrial but also on niche classes like manufactured homes, student housing, and storage spaces. As senior managing director of CHC's investor coverage group, Juracek oversees capital formation, strategic planning, and business development activities. He’s also a member of the company's investment committee and serves as a voting member of the Pension Real Estate Association.
